Arterial Occlusion Claims
Acute arterial occlusion (or a blocked artery) is a medical emergency. It is a blockage in an artery preventing blood flow to a limb.
This can also be known as limb ischemia and means that a limb is not getting sufficient oxygen through the blood so that tissues can become damaged and may die. It is often caused by blood clots and needs swift medical attention to restore oxygen to the affected limb.
Arterial occlusion can be fatal and survivors may have to have the affected limb amputated. Delays in diagnosis and treatment increase the risks of amputation and death and as a result can lead to claims for medical negligence.
If you or a family member has suffered as a result of poor treatment of an arterial occlusion, we can support you through the process of bringing a claim for compensation.Ā Please contact us to discuss how we can help.

Can my attorney just do what they like with my money?
You can only make an LPA while you have mental capacity so it is a good idea to think about it early, even if you are young and healthy. The chances are that you wonāt need it for a long time and maybe not at all. However, if something unexpected happens, for example if you are in an accident, then having an LPA in place will be one less thing for your loved ones to worry about.
If you make an LPA now and change your mind about who your attorneys should be, then you can always make a new one later.
