Leor is Chief Commercial Officer at Kingsley Napley and a Management Board and Senior Leadership Team member. Leor leads on driving revenue growth and profitability. He has managed Brand, Business Development, Business Planning, Commercial, Communications, Digital, Marketing, Knowledge & Information functions for the firm. Prior to his current role, Leor was Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer at KN.
Leor is a well known Chief Marketing Officer in professional services. He has spent over 25 years in legal, accounting, and consulting firms, including in international Marketing, Communications and Business Development Director roles at Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), and FTI Consulting, and as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of law firm funder Augusta. Earlier in his career, Leor acted as Chief of Staff for the Chief Executive of a FTSE 100 multinational, having previously worked as a fee earner, qualifying in a Big 4 firm.
His teams have won numerous awards, including Marketing / BD (Business Development) Team Of The Year, PR Of The Year, and Website Of The Year at the Brand Management & Reputation Awards and have been shortlisted for Best Business Support Team at the ALM British Legal Awards, Marketing Communication Strategy at the Modern Law Awards, and Best Marketing Campaign by the Managing Partners’ Forum (MPF). His co-authored article on law firm brand in Law360 UK was listed in the Most-Read Articles Of The Year 2024, and he was named in ’15 Most Influential Marketers In Professional Services’ by B2B Marketing in 2023.
Leor sits as a non-executive on the Boards of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity, the University of London Queen Mary Business School and industry body MPF. He is Chair of the MPF Marketing & Strategy Group (a networking group for Chief Marketing Officers in professional service firms), the Metropolitan Police Canons Ward Panel, Co-Chair of the Public Relations & Communications Association Legal Group, and previously chaired the PM Forum Annual Conference (for marketing leaders in professional service firms).
He is a regular speaker, moderator and chair at marketing and business development conferences, webinars, and podcasts, including for law firm organisations such as the International Bar Association, The Lawyer, Briefing, London Law Expo, British Legal Technology Forum, Professional Services Conference, and PM Forum, and publishers such as Marketing Week, PR Week, CMO Club, CMO Inspired, Rockstar CMO, Ortus CMO Chats, and B2B Marketing. He has also authored articles on marketing and BD in legal titles such as Law 360, Law Society Gazette and New Law Journal.
Leor is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a graduate of both the Oxford Saïd and Cambridge Judge professional service firm leadership programmes, and both the Cranfield and London Business School marketing director/strategy programmes. He holds a chartered financial analysis qualification from CISI, the Non-Executive Director Certificate from CIPFA/NEDA, the Certificate in Investor Relations from IRS, a Master’s in Management from Loughborough and a Bachelor’s in Politics & International Relations from Warwick.
