
About Amicie
Amicie Knowles is a Senior Paralegal in the Regulatory team specialising in the investigation of fitness to practice cases on behalf of regulators.
Amicie specialised in the investigation of fitness to practise cases relating to professional misconduct, ill-health, and lack of competence. She has particular experience in undertaking investigations related to regulated individuals that have received a conviction, involving close liaison with the police and the courts, as well as in complex cases involving historic sexual offences. Amicie has responsibility for interviewing witnesses, drafting witness statements and reviewing and collating evidence.
Amicie’s current clients include the Education Workforce Council (EWC), the Teachers Regulation Agency (TRA) and the General Optical Council (GOC). Amicie has also acted on behalf of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Amicie is studying to become a Legal Executive Lawyer via the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive Lawyers (CILEX) examinations.
