The government is currently consulting on changes to the student visa system and is considering abolishing the Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) category. The public consultation will run until Monday 31 January 2011.
The Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) route is regularly used by sponsoring employers to recruit the most able international graduates who have studied in the UK.
If your business is concerned about the possible abolition of the Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) route and the impact it could have on your recruitment programme please follow these simple steps to get your views heard:

- Print and complete the Pro-Forma – question 9 relates to Tier 1 (Post-Study Work);
- Submit the Pro-Forma by scanning and emailing to Studentconsultation@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk or by post to Student Consultation, 1st Floor, Green Park House, 29 Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR0 2AJ
