The City drops the tie – Nick Ralph quoted in L’AGEFI

"Government action has led to the idea that any code that treats men and women differently is contrary to the Equality Act, which forms the basis of anti-discrimination laws in the UK," says Ralph. “In essence, the new code requires employers to take a gender-blind approach.”
