"In July Kingsley Napley won a landmark victory in the Court of Appeal on behalf of Lady Brownlie, the widow of the international lawyer and academic Sir Ian Brownlie, allowing her to pursue a claim against the Four Seasons hotel group after Sir Ian’s death in an accident during a desert safari in Egypt ten years ago. The ruling opens the door for people injured in accidents abroad to bring claims in English courts."

"The firm is also representing Rebekah Vardy, wife of the footballer Jamie, in her fight against her former friend and fellow footballers’ wife Coleen Rooney, who accused her of leaking private information to the press last year. Vardy has vehemently denied involvement and has launched defamation proceedings against Rooney in the High Court."
