On 25 July we wrote about the expansion of Priority Visa Services and can now update you with news of additional locations offering these services, in the table below. The visa fee quoted is in addition to the usual visa processing fee.
Early Passport Return for Tier 2 (ICT) applications
Following our update on this on 25 July, we have since received confirmation from the Home Office that a separate application for the return of the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) will need to be submitted. Those Tier 2 Intra-company transfer migrants who have submitted an application via the postal route and require the early return of their BRP will need to send an email to Tier2ICTBRPReturn@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.
Home Office Consultations
On 11 July we posted an immigration update regarding the Home Office consultation on the prevention of illegal working. There is still time to participate in the short online survey and a link to this can be accessed here or in our previous alert which can be accessed here. The closing date for submission of the survey is 20 August.
On 4 July we also wrote about two other Home Office consultations where the general public is invited to complete short online surveys covering migrants’ access to health services and landlords conducting immigration checks on tenants. The closing date for the submission of these surveys is 28 August and 21 August respectively.
