Wearable technology such as Fitbits or mobile devices could act as "technology witnesses" and provide valuable data that can support events in an independent manner. 

These are things that happen in private , so they can provide an objective view about timelines, they can provide an objective view about what happened"

She added that

What you want is a fair trial, no matter what side of the aisle you are on. We need to look at really clear guidelines, documenting who has access to it, things that would give people piece of mind."
