Allowances must be accurately reflected on Tier 2 sponsorship

Registered Tier 2 sponsors are reminded that the allowances figure indicated on their Tier 2 migrants' CoS must be accurate and remain so throughout the period of sponsorship. If a sponsored employee receives, for example, a housing allowance as part of their salary package, any changes to the level of that allowance that may arise when the employee moves house must be updated to the UKBA.

If the allowance falls from the level given in the CoS the reduction in the overall salary package of the employee must be reported to the UKBA and may necessitate a change of employment application.
