Responsible Business

Charities & Community

At Kingsley Napley we measure our success not by numbers but our impact. On clients. On our people.  On the law. And within the communities in which we live and work.

We have long been proud of our charitable partnerships, and every two years we ask our colleagues to nominate two charities which we can support.

For 2026-2028 our chosen charities are Africa’s Gift and Bridging the Gap.

Africa’s Gift supports largely rural communities in Southern Africa (principally Lesotho, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Malawi) and Uganda, using sustainable development initiatives to help encourage farming and agriculture. You can learn more here Africa’s Gift

Bridging the Gap is based in Islington and offers trained, supervised volunteer mentors for people at risk of homelessness / addiction / or with experience of  the Criminal Justice System. You can learn more here Bridging Mentoring | Mentoring Project)

Both these charities strongly align with our focus on tackling inequality and widening access to opportunity, and share our commitment to social mobility, gender equality, climate action and access to justice:

Africa’s Gift by supporting education and life chances for women and young people, and Bridging the Gap by mentoring and helping mentees set practical goals.

Together, they reflect our belief that long‑term positive impact comes from removing structural barriers and investing in people and potential.

In addition to our charity partners, colleagues also take part in a range of volunteering and charity projects in their local communities.
