
About Adele
Adele advises, supports and represents organisations and individuals on a wide range of employment-law related issues.
Adele has extensive experience in employment tribunal claims, and has litigated in respect of employee/worker status, equal pay, holiday pay, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, unfair dismissal and constructive dismissal. She has particular expertise with industrial relations, encompassing working with a unionised workforce and trade union representatives.
Adele also advises on issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies and handles negotiations in respect of settlement agreements and protected conversations.
Adele has held various roles at the Law Society of England and Wales since 2014. She currently sits on two committees and is a Social Mobility Ambassador.
She is a former chair of its Junior Lawyers’ Division, which at 70,000 members is the Society’s largest. Whilst in this role she orchestrated campaigns and lobbying on issues affecting junior lawyers and entrants to the profession on issues such as unpaid internships, trainee retention and trainee minimum salary. She also led the responses to the SRA consultations on the SQE.
Adele is a regular contributor to the media and has appeared on both televised news programmes and radio. She is also quoted regularly in the press.
