About Mark
Mark is a Senior Associate in the Employment team. He advises senior employees and partners who have been dismissed or discriminated against and employers or partnerships dealing with difficult and complicated employment disputes.
Mark helps his clients reach favourable resolutions to disputes before they end up in courts or tribunals. If litigation cannot be avoided, Mark is an experienced litigator and a sophisticated strategist. He gets to know his clients, ensuring they are comfortable discussing their employment problems openly and honestly.
Mark cut his teeth in employment law acting for trade union members, so he understands the emotional effects of dismissal and discrimination. He knows what his individual clients want, knows the pitfalls to avoid for employers and understands the sensitivities in unionised workforces.
Mark specialises in complex and high-value employment litigation including in whistleblowing, discrimination, state immunity, employment status and equal pay. He advises employees and employers on complex investigations, post-termination restrictions, sexual misconduct in the workplace and TUPE.
Mark is an experienced adviser in finance, medicine, academia, law, technology and the civil service.
