
About Andy
Andy is an experienced employment lawyer and advises both senior employees and partners and employer clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Working alongside inhouse counsel, senior business leaders and HR, Andy supports and advises employer clients on grievance, disciplinary and performance matters, TUPE-related issues, employee exits and redundancies and re-organisations, as well as drafting employment contracts, handbooks and policies and settlement agreements.
Andy’s experience covers a range of sectors including: education, hospitality, legal, retail, aviation and technology, and includes large national and multinational corporations.
Andy represents senior employees, partners and LLP members in relation to redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters and negotiates exits, particularly for senior individuals working in financial services, which will often involve bonus provision, complex equity and deferred remuneration arrangements and post-termination restrictions.
He is an experienced litigator and has successfully brought and defended numerous employment related claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, victimisation, equal pay and whistleblowing.
Andy provides the service he would want to receive. Avoiding legal waffle, he provides advice that is commercially minded, pragmatic and strategic. He prides himself on his personal approach and particularly enjoys working closely with clients to achieve the best commercial outcome.
Andy has been recognised by the Legal 500 for a number of years.
