In this Day 6 video for our KN 12 Days of Christmas series, partner Ilda de Sousa talks about late applications to the EU Settlement Scheme. Even though the UKVI are accepting late applications under the EUSS, provided applicants can show "reasonable grounds" for the late filing, it is important that the UKVI is reasonable when deciding these cases to ensure fairness across the scheme. Equally, they should allow these applicants the ability to travel whilst the application is under consideration without any issues.
