Alun Milford, Partner in our Criminal Litigation team has been quoted in The Telegraph giving his thoughts on how Government schemes to lend or grant money to struggling businesses and to pay the wages of idle workers could be a potential target for criminals.
Alun quoted:
I do not doubt there will be bogus claims made. Fraudsters will just look at the way in which the mechanisms for making grants or making payments is going to operate, and they'll be trying to design frauds around that."
