DPAs: good deals or a two-tier system? – Alun Milford quoted in The Times

Alun Milford, Partner in our Criminal Litigation department, has been quoted in The Times regarding deferred prosecution agreements (DPAs).

Alun Milford, the former general counsel at the SFO who is a partner at Kingsley Napley, agrees. Individual DPAs would expose politicians to the charge that they are creating a “two-tier criminal justice system”, he says, in which white-collar criminals could escape a conviction, but others would not. "
